Assignment #1: Answer the following question in 3-4 double-spaced pages:

Drawing on all the Lippi-Green and Romaine chapters from Weeks 1-3, discuss three ways that stereotypes are reproduced in texts and images. Why does this matter?

To support your thesis, your answer MUST use and properly cite specific pieces of (linguistic) evidence from relevant course readings.

The final paper must be typed in Times New Roman, double-spaced, with one-inch margins in 12-pt font. It must use a consistent style for citations and references (APA style preferred).
